Digital Equalizer Program




Govt. Girls SR. Sec. School  is one of DE school in Sirsa. It came under DE Program in 2012.






Digital Equalizer program is progress for new initiative to fill gap between education system and technology related computer education. In this program , Key stakeholders are schools, teachers, education department, Trainers. Digital Equalizer (DE) program is Techno-Pedagogy program that is bridging the education and digital divide in India. Under DE teachers & students get training on Computer fundamentals, Pedagogy (Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, Multiple Intelligence & Collaborative Learning) and Project based learning approaches.


              Principal Mam's Views about DE Program


I feel proud about DE program which is running and implemented in our school since last some of months. It creates new idea of teaching methods related to new technologies. Progress of students is growing through this program and they more interested in this system. This program is making a support for students as well as teachers for learning knowledge of new technologies. Teachers has been trained in MS office program included excel, word,power point.

PBl Classes Under DE Program


Project-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered Pedagogy in which students learn about a subject through the experience of problem solving. Students learn both thinking strategies and domain knowledge. The goals of PBL are to help the students develop flexible knowledge, effective problem solving skills.

DE Contest Activities

Students learn and work on various projects of Solar Energy and also make project Child Rights activities, Education programme with new technologies etc. They try to understand concept of subject and compiled reports, papers through internet, eBooks. Trainers provide training to prepare Power Point through ED Initiative. They prepare slides and discuss and about the concepts of new technologies. They develop new innovative ideas and try to introduce themselves through DE programme.
